The Opportunity

Marvell's Processor Business Unit designs and verifies SoCs that provide cutting-edge solutions in 5G, network processing, automotive, and AI/ML for our customers. Come and help us define, design, implement and validate Marvell's next-generation SOCs. Apply today!

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of the SoC RTL integration team, our job is to bring Marvell's next generation cloud, networking, security and mobile processors together. Responsibilities include:
  • Work with Architects, IP RTL development teams, Verification teams and Physical Design teams to integrate complex, high performance IP into a cohesive product
  • Be responsible for integration level RTL design (bridges, clock domain crossings, routing channels, I/O design, and a variety of custom solutions to project specific needs)
  • Work closely with the SoC verification team and assist triage a debug of simulation
  • Work closely with the physical design team to floorplan the product, and balance functional and physical design constraints
  • Work closely with the timing team to guide solutions to resolve top-level timing issues

Requirements:

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 4-7 years of related professional experience.
* Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.

  • Excellentanalysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understand ASIC design flow
  • Knowledge in micro-architecture design, RTL coding, and functional verification
  • Good understanding of synchronous/asynchronous design and timing requirements
  • Ability to analyze power/area trade-offs
  • Proficient using Verilog/VHDL
  • Knowledge of design and verification tools
  • Experience in Perl/Python is a plus

  • Has an inherent sense of urgency and accountability
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Enjoys interacting across cross-functional groups
