THOR Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Junior or Journeyman SolidWorks Modeler to support the US Navy in Arlington, Virginia or remotely. The candidate will assist in designing and developing Naval Special Warfare Combatant Craft Heavy hulls through production models, drawings, and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Location:Fully remote available. An ideal candidate will be local to THOR offices in Arlington, VA or Virginia Beach, VA and able to support some onsite time.
Secret Security Clearance Eligibility Preferred: This position does not require an active security clearance, but an active DoD Secret security clearance or eligibility for a DoD Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
Typical Physical Requirements: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion. Around 10% travel for visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.
