Project Specialist Job Description
The project specialist will work in a multidisciplinary environment in support of research on housing, neighborhoods, and health.
The job responsibilities include:
Uses Stata and other statistical programs as necessary (e.g. SAS, R) to extract, clean, manage, and analyze data in support of the research project.
Generates graphs, charts or tables to present analysis results and provides interpretation.
Participates in writing of reports, research papers, articles and other documentation of project status and/or administrative activities or project results.
Prepares reports, correspondence, other materials and analysis according to project schedules.
Assists with organizing and scheduling activities to meet research objectives and study protocol compliance.
Communicates with study team personnel to ensure study procedures are followed and research is performed as described in protocol.
Qualifications:
Ability to produce careful and detail-oriented work
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing skills
Basic understanding of statistical methods; Knowledge of statistical programming (SAS or STATA)
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree; Bachelors degree with some experience will also be considered
Preferred Experience:
3 Years
Education Requirements
Major in economics, statistics, quantitative social sciences, or related field required.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education and experience to be able to advise on project procedures and analysis techniques
