Job Description

Aptiv is a global technology company that develops safe, green and connected solutions which are enabling the future of mobility. The company has over 200,000 employees across 11 technical centers and 131 manufacturing locations in 48 countries and generates over $17B in revenues per year.

Our history:

Aptiv traces its roots to Delphi, which originated from General Motors' spin-off in 1995 of its Automotive Components Group. In December 2017, Delphi completed the spin-off of its former Powertrain Systems segment into a new publicly-traded company, Delphi Technologies (NYSE: DLPH). The remaining businesses - re-named Aptiv (NYSE: APTV) - focused on addressing the future needs of the auto industry through improved safety, electrification, and new mobility solutions. We are now uniquely positioned as the leading global technology company serving both the traditional automotive and new mobility markets.

Our businesses:

This segment provides technologies that serve as the nervous system of the vehicle, including the complete design, manufacture and assembly of the vehicle's electrical architecture. Products include engineered components, connectors, wiring assemblies and harnesses, cable management, electrical centers and hybrid high voltage and safety distribution systems.

  • Advanced Safety & User Experience - Revenues of ~$5B in 2022. This segment provides software enabled solutions that serve as the brain of the vehicle, improving safety, security, connectivity and comfort. Products include active safety and perception systems, in-cabin user experience systems, compute platforms for security, comfort and control functions, as well as on-and-off-vehicle data management and communication solutions. The segment will also work closely with Aptiv's automated driving joint venture with Hyundai.
