Job Description
The IT Business Analyst helps the business solve problems with technology in an ever-evolving cycle of continuous improvement, providing value in many forms. Using the ability to understand technology capabilities and business processes, this position will provide solutions to business problems through process improvement, solution design and technology implementation efforts throughout the business. This position will identify, collect, clarify, and translate business challenges, bringing clarity and proposing solutions that improve the whole. A focus area will be on finding areas to improve flow: Use of process automation, workflow automation, improving integrations, and working towards complementary solutions. We are looking for a self-starting problem solver who is curious, detail-oriented, and organized, with a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset and the desire to learn and grow.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with team members across the business through ongoing interactions.
  • Collaborate within and across business units to understand and define business problems, deliver strategic value, build on common platforms, and maximize strategic business capabilities based on need.
  • Initiate and deliver incremental, ongoing improvements to existing processes, integrations, and services.
  • Respond to business requests, assisting with analysis, justification, design, and implementation of solutions ranging from process improvements to software, systems, and integrations.
  • Quantify improvements to estimate value, cost, and effort to prioritize work.
  • Create and maintain business requirements documents, solution design documents, technical specifications, use cases, test cases and test plans where needed to accomplish objectives.
  • Provide tier 2-3 production support of enterprise applications, engaging vendor support when necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • 4+ years of work experience in related disciplines such as process improvement, process optimization, process management, product management, solution design, application administration, business analysis, and systems analysis.
  • Experience, coursework, or Degree in Business Analysis, Software Development, Information Technology, or related area. CCBA, CBAP or related certifications are helpful.
  • Familiar with API's, UI/UX, database applications, web application architecture, or similar concepts.
  • An understanding of enterprise database applications architecture and functional concepts, data integrations, and mobile applications would be helpful in this role.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation, low-code/no-code, data structures, Microsoft Power Automate desired.
  • Familiarity with small-medium project planning, and agile software development lifecycle.
  • Good communication skills (oral, written, and verbal).
