Job Description

If you are a Masters Level Clinician with a Recovery focus, then we have a position for you in our Community Support Program. You can help facilitate positive changes in the lives of adults experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use related challenges. Within this program, Masters Level Co-Occurring Clinicians work together with a multidisciplinary team to assist individuals living within the community grow, change, and recover by providing individual, couples, family, and group counseling. Masters Level Co-Occurring Clinicians also conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and ASAM based substance use assessments, participate in goal setting/recovery planning activities, facilitate coping skill development, psychoeducation, safety planning, relapse prevention, and harm reduction activities.

Candidate should demonstrate high-level skills in engaging individuals, knowledge of a variety of psychotherapy techniques and modalities, knowledge of ASAM, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Candidate should also demonstrate knowledge of relevant ethical and confidentiality guidelines in behavioral health practice, multicultural awareness, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development in order to stay current with best practices/evidenced based practices in behavioral health care.

Preferred experience in community behavioral health services, use of electronic health records, and strong computer skills. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Education/Licensing Requirements: Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field with an active LCDP. Candidates with an independent mental health license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) must obtain an LCDP within 3 years of hire. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
