Operate adjust and maintain high pressure and associated heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Operate and monitor plant operations control systems and maintain logs. Receive and respond to requests for maintenance service or repairs.

Responsibilities
- 1. Preventative/Corrective maintenance
- 1.1 - Identification of equipment - Proper use of tools and supplies - Complete 100% of all work orders - Respond to calls from hospital
- 2. Boiler Plant Operation
- 2.1 - Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems - Perform safety checks on operating boilers - troubleshoot boiler issues and correct to maintain operations - Ability to operate all boiler support equipment
- 3. Chiller plant operation
- 4. Fire Alarm System
- 5. HVAC
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferred
LICENSURE
'Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. The following licenses will be accepted: RI stationary engineer/boiler operator license, PF Journeyman-1 or 2, PF Master 1 or 2. CT License's- S-1, S-2, S-3, S-4, OE-2.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching and general knowledge of trade skills
