Position Description
The Legal Agreements Co-op Student is responsible for researching and making recommendations related to various statutes, regulations, and common contract clauses that impact research and operations at the Laboratory. This position supports three teams, including Legal Agreements; Off-Contracts, Partnerships & Agreements; and Government Contracts and Compliance, and will complete research assignments of interest to each.
Basic working knowledge ofintellectual property and contract law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Supplements, and other relevant statutes and regulations is preferred. Must be highly detail-oriented, well organized, and a skilled multi-tasker that can work independently.
Requirements
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
