Description
DESCRIPTION: The mission of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) is to win the hearts and minds of non-Jews and Jews through powerful positive messaging and partnerships, motivating and equipping them to be defenders of and upstanders for Jews. FCAS focuses on spreading the Blue Square and associated programs to spur action by people of all backgrounds. Working with a network of partners, FCAS leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community. SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the FCAS Administrative Assistant will be to support and coordinate departmental and administrative needs for FCAS. The individual will help manage the day-to-day operations of the department, including prioritizing appointments, managing event logistics, preparing and editing correspondence, communicating critical information, and helping members of FCAS acquire timely feedback to keep business initiatives moving forward. This individual will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative and sensitivity to confidentiality and will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Draft and edit correspondence, notes, reports, newsletters, agendas, and meeting materials
  2. Partner with internal team members on external event planning and execution; ensure that events progress seamlessly by collaborating with internal and external partners as needed and ensuring accuracy of event logistics.
  3. Create presentations for meetings and events and source information to be used for meeting preparations
  4. Organize and schedule meetings and appointments, including management of Senior Leader calendars as needed.
  5. Answer phones, respond to emails, coordinate travel, sort mail and enter data in internal tracking systems
  6. Provide exemplary service and support to visitors.
  7. Maintain outstanding relationships with key internal parties to assist with integrated business operations
  8. Manage special projects and assignments as business dictates; track action items to completion.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations in both Microsoft Office and Google platforms.
  • Proactive and inquisitive thinker who is resourceful and anticipates needs
