Finance Manager - Global Product Organization (GPO)

About this position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Managerlocated in Boston, MA.This position will function as a key business partner to the GPO organization, which falls under Aptiv's Advanced Safety and User Experience segment. The role leads financial analysis and reporting activity, as well as analysis of commercial and strategic initiatives. Candidate must be self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to engage with the various business teams.

This role is highly visible and provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to accelerate career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Provide financial oversight and guidance to the Global Product Organization.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and other GPO teams to work on the business pursuits.

  • Close alignment with the AS&UX Finance team on the work required for program and customer profitability.

  • Partner with business unit leadership to define, track and analyze key business and financial metrics

  • Lead monthly management reporting of financial results and forecasts.

  • Develop, consolidate, compare and analyze actual results against plans and forecasts; monitor variances; identify trends and recommend changes to the leadership team

  • Coordinate the analysis and development of the annual budget.

  • Management and development of two financial analysts.

Basic qualifications

  • BS in Finance or Accounting

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance/financial planning & analysis or related field

  • Accountability with ability to independently lead and manage complex projects across multiple topics

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Prior experience with Financial Reporting & Analysis in a relevant industry

  • Good understanding of Financial and Accounting principles

  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, or CPA a plus

  • Good business process/product understanding

  • Attention to various deadlines

  • Must be proactive, resourceful and demonstrate intellectual curiosity to predict business needs

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
