Responsibilities:
Perform daily system administration of several software applications for building control systems.
Monitor and control HVAC equipment, set schedules and define energy-saving practices.
Perform upgrades and modifications to system software and building automation system equipment at the application and equipment level.
Maintain the scheduling of equipment for on/off start times, temperatures, records of equipment performance, and troubleshooting of equipment failure.
Maintain preventative maintenance and repair records for all building automation system equipment.
Perform all assigned preventative maintenance, repair, and emergency service calls.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt. Consult with and provide guidance rooted in subject matter expertise to C&W FM Teams, Client FM Teams, and vendors on problems related to hardware, software, or network communication functions.
Work closely with account FM Technicians as well as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical vendor personnel. Effectively communicate and maintain project status with Management, Contractors, and Customers.
Work closely with all members of the Client's Community Teams on issues related to building automation systems.
Review current energy usage and where appropriate recommend modifications for more efficient energy usage.
Assist in the development and implementation of the energy management program and building automation systems.
Review and remain current and knowledgeable on state-of-the-art energy conservation methods and equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
Associate degree or certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, HVAC, or controls technology).
Solid understanding of building management systems, including knowledge of HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management systems.
Hands-on experience working with building automation systems, such as Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with industry protocols and standards, including BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and KNX.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and contractors.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
Understanding of facility management practices and procedures will be considered a plus.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, AutoCAD, Visio and data modeling systems.
Data Center operations experience highly desirable

Estimated compensation for this position is:
$43.00/hr - $47.00/hr
