Description

RISE Group Inc. is seeking a high energy, Administrative Assistant to work within a dynamic team environment within our Energy Efficiency, Small Business Program. This position will support a variety of programs and tasks such as project enrollment, project record management, site visit scheduling, and the necessary follow up with auditors, vendors and customers. The successful candidate has the ability to multitask and while providing a high-level of customer and internal support. The position is based in Cranston, RI.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the process of customer intake and enrollment
  • Scheduling audits for the RISE Cape Light team via telephone and on-line calendars
  • Document management in support of Cape Light Compact
  • Working with company-designed database systems for data entry, tracking and reporting
  • Sales order creation, in support of the Project Coordinator
  • Creating reports, proposals, and other documents with timeliness and accuracy
  • Processing customer requests, ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Managing warranty/repair inquiries across Small Business programs
  • Preparing, reading and routing incoming/outgoing mail, e-mail and faxes
  • Answering telephone calls, transferring calls, and returning calls
  • Organizing and maintaining files and other records

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience providing customer support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and database software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Exceptional attentiveness to detail, with ability to learn and understand technical terms
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively with high volumes, meet short deadlines, take direction and perform duties with limited direction and guidance
  • Ability to practice discretion and good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions; interpret and apply policies and procedures; deal diplomatically with the public; take responsibility; and use good judgment within scope of authority.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field Experience working in energy efficiency services or installation contracting firm
  • General understanding of building systems and equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or other web application platforms

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
