Repair Technician

Overview

In this role, you will tests, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic components, parts, equipment and systems. Full time, onsite, day shift position

Responsibilities
    Performs general preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Diagnoses, trouble shoots and repairs customer returns
  • Installs and removes systems and subsystems
  • Implements engineering changes
  • Sets up apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units
  • Adjusts and calibrates systems as required
  • Modifies electronic equipment as defined by engineering; corrects malfunctions as directed
  • Enters and updates information in Service / Material Management Databases
  • Undertakes 'customer facing' diagnostic activities over the phone when required
Qualifications
  • AS Degree or equivalent, plus 3 - 5 years experience in electronics, diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems, or equivalent level of skills and experience
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills and good team player
  • Must be a US citizen. KVH cannot sponsor at this time.

This is a full time, onsite position.
