We are searching for a Construction Supervisor II on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. This role is for an Electrical Inspector/Superintendent for a Solar project. The person would be responsible for the construction and commissioning of high voltage substations associated with the solar project. The person will be involved with lots of meeting each day. It starts out with a plan of the day meeting. In these meetings, the team/individual is involved in the communication and planning for installation and commissioning of the entire substation.

There are coordination meetings with transmission installation and with substation construction. This individual will also be working in the office doing research, planning and review of execution plans, lack of takeout plans, commissioning plans, etc. They will also be in the field verifying that the contractors are installing and executing per plan.

Location: Becker, MN

Standard day shift starting around 6:30 AM to about 4:30; 5 days per week with the occasional Saturday. OT REQUIRED.

• Per diem will be paid 7 days per week at the current GSA rate for out of state candidates.

Responsibilities

• Will be working on site with a group of six other individuals as well as an off-site project management team. The scope of the contractor engagement is limited to just a few individual people daily in regard to the scheduling and the coordination.
• Will be working with the executive or upper-level management of the site in addition to the contractor site construction team.
• This person will have involvement with field workers is limited to advice or stop work authority if the individual were to be doing something unsafe.
• Will primarily be engaged with the contractors' management team for field work and typically not the contractors themselves.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5-7 years of previous high voltage electrical experience/background.
• Must have previous knowledge of high voltage electricity, substations, transmission lines and their associated components.
• Must have experienced in the installation and the commissioning of high voltage sub yards with those five plus years in the supervisory level experience, spot.
• Strong communication skills.

• Adobe Pro, Procore/PM Web software for communication.
• Must be proficient with SharePoint and MS Office suite.
